Nketia Music Foundation was formed to promote the conservation and development of Ghana’s Creative Legacy in contemporary contexts, and the use of the works of Emeritus Prof. J. H. Kwabena Nketia and other composers for the development and growth of music and culture. It was incorporated under the Companies Code of the Republic of Ghana on 28TH September 2009, as a company limited by guarantee.

OBJECTIVES

1. To promote the conservation and development of our creative legacy in contemporary contexts
2. To assist in the curatorial and promotional aspects of the Nketia collection of archival materials in the Institute of African Studies, University of Ghana and other locations.
